Each of the full bodied, flavoursome teas raise invaluable funds, with 7p from every pack sold going directly to the RNLI to help train and equip the charity's dedicated volunteers*.

Over 165 million cups of tea are consumed daily in the UK** and if each of these brews was a Lifeboat Tea, up to a staggering £231,000 could be raised for the RNLI every day.

National Children's charity CHICKS (Country Holiday for Inner City Kids) is asking for runners to join their team for the British10K London Run on Sunday 11th July 2010. CHICKS have provided hundreds of disadvantaged children from London, Kent and surrounding areas with a respite break at their retreats in Devon & Cornwall. CHICKS plan to give free breaks to 1,200 children per year in 2010 but as the charity receives no government funding, events like the British 10K London Run play a big part in funding the respite breaks.

Members of Eastbourne's Curves fitness centre raised £900 last month for Breast Cancer charities. Besides holding raffles, competitions and an auction, 270 bras were donated by the members for recycling.
